Attend a Live Demo of Clio Draft to Win Amazing Prizes!

Entries can be earned beginning on June 11, 2024, and will close on August 30, 2024 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Winners will be contacted by email outreach from the Clio Draft team.

1. Entrants must be 21 years old and over during the Giveaway Period and must be a resident of the United States of America or Canada in order to be eligible for the Giveaway. Entrants are limited to those persons employed at a law firm, legal aid clinic, or legal department which is not currently a Subscriber to Cio Services.
2. Employees of Clio, Partners of Clio, Media Sponsors, are not eligible for entry into the Giveaway. Family of Clio employees, as well as, family of Clio employees are not eligible for entry into the Giveaway. A “family member” is defined to mean spouse, parent, grandparent, child, sibling, or in-laws.

1. Entrants must attend a live product demonstration of eligible Clio Services,which may include Clio Manage, Clio Grow, Clio Draft, and other service offerings from Clio during the Giveaway period. Completion of attending the full live demonstration will create one (1) entry for the person that registered for the demonstration.

2. Entrants may gain one (1) additional entry by registering and attending the Legal Tech Tips, Gadgets and Services That Actually Save You Time webinar (“Webinar”) being held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. PT | 2 p.m. ET.

   • The Webinar will be provided free of charge to all attendees.
   • Entrants must register for the Webinar at https://www.clio.com/events/webinar-time-saving-legal-tech-tips/
   • Only entrants that view the entire Webinar as it is broadcast live and participate in all the Webinar polling will be granted an entry.
   • Only entrants registered for the webinar may receive the extra entry. Attendees that do not register separately will not receive an entry.
3. Giveaway entries will be tracked and tabulated by Clio. Should any discrepancies arise in the number of entries, Clio’s records will be used as the final and accurate representation of total entries by entrant.
4. Clio is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries; printing errors; server unavailability; or computer or any other electronic or telecommunications malfunction.
5. Entries or entrants can be deemed ineligible by Clio upon its sole discretion without prior notification.

The winners for the Giveaway will be determined through random selection of eligible entrants. In order to redeem the Giveaway prize, the winner must provide identification, as well as their name, birth date, email, current address, as well as any other information required by Clio.

The prize includes and is limited to :

• Weekly drawings among eligible entrants for one (1) of three (3) prizes

• One (1) prize (“Grand Prize”) of a catered BBQ for up to twenty (20) participants at the Entrant’s place of work or other appropriate venue. This BBQ will be scheduled to occur in September 2024. Grand prize value not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000) United States dollars or Canadian dollars in value as appropriate.

1. The winner will be contacted by email outreach from the Clio team, weekly for the weekly drawings, and after August 31, 2024 for the Grand Prize.
2. Winners must provide verification of their identity in order to claim the Prize as well as an address to ship the Prize. Clio reserves the right to examine additional identification and may choose to accept or deny awarding the Prize based on the identification presented.
3. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY, EACH PARTICIPANT AND WINNER WAIVES ANY AND ALL CLAIMS OF LIABILITY AGAINST CLIO, AND THEIR EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS, THEIR RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS, FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR LOSS THAT MAY OCCUR FROM THE CONDUCT OF, OR PARTICIPATION IN, THE GIVEAWAY, OR FROM THE USE OF ANY PRIZE.
4. Prizes must be claimed within one (2) weeks of the email notification being sent by Clio. Failure to claim the prize within this time period will result in the prize being forfeited.

5. Weekly drawing winners will be ineligible for further weekly prize drawings but will be entered for the Grand Prize drawing.

   • Weekly drawing winning entrants may be required to submit their shipping details to a third party fulfillment service. Entrants are responsible for informing themselves and consenting to the third party service’s in order to receive their prize.

6. The Grand Prize must be scheduled to occur within September 2024. Winning entrant must coordinate with Clio on the scheduling and availability of the entrant to participate in the Grand Prize event.

   • Clio will work with the winning entrant on any applicable dietary restrictions, but it is the responsibility of the entrant to advise BBQ participants of the menu and any precautions that may be required.

   • Clio will select the caterer and menu for the Grand Prize catered BBQ.

1. The conduct of the Giveaway is governed by the applicable laws of the United States of America and Canada as well as any federal, state/provincial, or municipal laws which take precedence over any rule to the contrary herein.
2. Clio will not be liable for any lost or stolen entries, Prizes or Giveaway information.
3. By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Clio personnel. Clio reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any Prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in participating in the Giveaway, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. Clio will interpret these Official Rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Giveaway and Giveaway sponsor decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the Giveaway is affected by human error, any mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of Clio, Clio reserves the right to terminate this Giveaway, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as Clio deem appropriate. All decisions will be made by Clio and are final. Clio may waive any of these rules in their sole discretion.
4. Clio reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this Giveaway at any time without prior notice.
5. This giveaway incorporates the Clio North American Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. All terms not expressly defined in these Official Rules are governed by these documents. Clio will treat all personal data submitted by Entrants as per these policies. Entrants may exercise all privacy rights by following the steps outlined in these policies.

By entering this Giveaway, participants authorize the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including, without limitation, radio broadcasts; newspapers and other publications; television or film releases; slides; videotape; distribution over the Internet; and picture data storage) Clio may deem appropriate for the purposes of promoting this Giveaway.

BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY TO THE GIVEAWAY DURING THE GIVEAWAY PERIOD, EACH ENTRANT, ITS, HIS, HER OR THEIR HEIRS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS (“ENTRANT”) THEREBY RELEASES, FOREVER DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO MAKE A CLAIM AGAINST OR SUE CLIO , ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, LICENSEES, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, REPRESENTATIVES, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS , OF AND FROM ALL MANNER OF ACTION OR ACTIONS, CAUSE OR CAUSES OF ACTION, AT LAW OR IN EQUITY, SUITS, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LIABILITY, LOSS, COST OR EXPENSE, OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, FIXED OR CONTINGENT, WHICH ENTRANT MAY HAVE OR HEREAFTER HAVE  BY REASON OF ANY INJURIES OR DAMAGES THE ENTRANT MAY SUSTAIN, WHETHER TO ENTRANT’S PERSON, PROPERTY, REPUTATION, OR OTHERWISE, AS A RESULT OF, INCIDENT TO, OR RELATED IN ANY WAY TO THE ENTRY, THE GIVEAWAY, OR THE USE, INCORPORATION OR EXPLOITATION OF THE ENTRY FOR ANY PURPOSE DESCRIBED HEREIN.
